The National Adult Safeguarding week starts on Monday 15th November and is an excellent opportunity to promote adult safeguarding and the work that a number of organisations are doing to protect residents across Cheshire East.

What is Emotional Abuse? - Ann Craft Trust

Safeline is an independent and non-discriminatory charity providing specialist tailored support for anyone affected by sexual abuse and rape. Services include; counselling, training for professionals and partner agencies, self-help resources and helplines.

‘Campaign Against Living Miserably’ provides frontline, community and online resources to promote mental wellbeing and work towards driving down suicide in the UK. Support to address debt, social isolation, abuse, being in prison, relationship issues, unemployment, bullying, health worries, suicidal thoughts …. Any issues affecting mental health. ‘The Best Man Project’ and also Support for those bereaved by suicide.
